Research in the lab focuses around community ecology, ecosystem structure and function, and conservation biology. We primarily study fish and mussel assemblages. Our research addresses two basic themes: 1) identifying processes driving species diversity and habitat associations; 2) how global change influences the relationship between animal diversity and freshwater ecosystem function. The lab operates out of the School of Renewable Natural Resources at Louisiana State University.
